What We Offer
-
Individual Therapy
Most of my work is one-on-one therapy with adolescents, young adults, and adults. Sessions are collaborative, flexible, and grounded in real-life application — meaning we don’t just talk about what’s going on, we figure out what to do about it.
What to expect in individual therapy:
Space to show up fully: Come as you are — overwhelmed, unsure, or stuck.
A mix of depth and direction: Some sessions go deep. Others get tactical. Most do both.
Honest feedback, not just listening: I won’t let you stay lost in the spiral. I’ll help you find the thread.
Real-world tools: We’ll use what works — not what’s trendy, rigid, or overly clinical.

EMDR & Trauma Recovery
For clients working through trauma, I offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) as one of the tools we can use. It’s a structured, evidence-based approach that helps the brain reprocess stuck or overwhelming experiences — especially when talk therapy alone doesn’t go deep enough.
What to expect with EMDR:
Not one-size-fits-all: We’ll decide together if EMDR fits your goals.
Paced for your nervous system: No rushing, no rigid timelines.
Rooted in trust: We build stability and clarity before going into any trauma work.
Flexible integration: EMDR can be part of a broader therapy approach — we don’t have to stick to one method.
You don’t need a single “big” trauma to benefit. If past experiences are showing up in the present — in your body, relationships, or choices — we can work with that.
-
Support for Parents & Families
While most of my work is individual, I also support parents and families — especially when a teen is struggling and the whole household feels it.
What to expect in family support work:
Teen-centered, not teen-blaming: Therapy gives young people space to be heard without pressure.
Support for parents, too: You’ll get guidance on how to respond instead of react.
Focus on communication and understanding: We unpack what’s going on underneath the behaviors.
Collaborative mindset: You won’t get a list of rules. We’ll build a working system that fits your family.
What to Expect
What Sessions Are Like
Sessions are collaborative and active. Some days we go deep, some days we plan, some days we problem-solve. I’ll meet you where you are, but I won’t leave you there. Therapy here is about movement, not just maintenance.
Private Pay & Sliding Scale
Cypress Therapy is a private-pay practice. This allows us to work without insurance restrictions, diagnoses, or session limits. You get privacy, flexibility, and a process tailored to you.
I offer a sliding scale based on need. We’ll talk through rates together when we connect — no surprises, no awkwardness. Superbills are available for out-of-network reimbursement if your insurance allows it.
